The 10th Workshop on Infrared Microscopy and Spectroscopy with Accelerator Based Sources will be held September 23rd-27th
The international event WIRMS 2019, promoted by the Brazilian Synchrotron Light Laboratory (LNLS) located at the Brazilian Center for Research in Energy and Materials (CNPEM), will highlight the latest advances in experimental techniques in the infrared range in synchrotron light sources and free electrons lasers. In addition, the meeting will bring together about 100 experts in the field, including users and researchers.
Sirius, the new source of Brazilian synchrotron light, is planned to be one of the most advanced facilities of its kind in the world, opening new research perspectives in a wide range of areas. In this way, WIRMS 2019 aims specially to motivate the community around the various possibilities that will soon become available.
The event will be held at Itamambuca Eco Resort, in Ubatuba, Sao Paulo state, from September 23 to 27, 2019.
