In-Situ Growth Laboratory

The LCIS group is responsible for the management and operation of the In-Situ Growth Laboratory of the synchrotron light source Sirius, at the Brazilian Synchrotron Light Laboratory (LNLS). The laboratory is dedicated to the growth of thin films for further study with techniques using synchrotron light.

The group is responsible for the laboratory instrumentation, for advising users in the operation of the equipment, and for assisting users in the treatment of collected data. The group is also interested in the study of magnetic thin films, superconductors, and emerging phenomena in the heterostructure interfaces.
