The Brazilian Synchrotron Light Laboratory (LNLS) participates in the Institutional Visitation Program of the Brazilian Center for Research in Energy and Materials (CNPEM). The program aims to stimulate interest in science and to promote scientific and technological dissemination. The program is aimed at high school students, technical school students and higher education students (undergraduate and graduate), teacher and professors from educational and research institutes or business representatives.
The visits can contemplate one or more of the campus laboratories. In addition to the LNLS, it is possible to visit the Brazilian Biosciences National Laboratory (LNBio), the Brazilian Bioethanol Science and Technology Laboratory (CTBE) and the Brazilian Nanotechnology National Laboratory (LNNano).
